Rodanthe

Rodanthe’s the first town you’ll pass through after driving through miles of wildlife refuge. This little town is a haven for surfers, fishermen, or anyone looking for a beach vacation away from all the hustle and bustle. Check out the historic Chicamacomico Life Saving Station and Musuem while you’re here, and if you’re looking for the house from that Richard Gere movie the friendly locals will be happy to point it out.

To the immediate south is the town of Waves and followed by the town of Salvo.
