Nags Head

Nags Head is full of homes, restaurants, and shops, but you might be surprised by how much nature there is to explore. You can climb the sand dunes at Jockey’s Ridge State Park or take a hike in Nags Head Woods. When the ocean calls you, check out Bodie Island Lighthouse, the untouched beaches in Pea Island, or spend the day fishing off one of the piers or on a charter boat captained by the guys from Wicked Tuna out of Oregon Inlet Fishing Center.
